Project Partner Spotlight: Fill
As part of the Additive for Mobility (A4M) project, Fill is working on the development of a simulation-based, flexible manufacturing cell. The company is contributing its extensive expertise in digital process simulation, data analysis, and the use of digital twins to realistically model and optimize hybrid process chains.
By combining plant engineering expertise with digital technologies, Fill is laying the foundation for adaptive manufacturing solutions, end-to-end data transparency, and automated decision support. The goal is to enable robust and scalable additive process chains for industrial applications.
A particular focus is on the application of digital validation methods such as simulation, virtual commissioning, and digital twins to enable additive manufacturing processes to be evaluated at an early stage and efficiently integrated into industrial environments.
“Additive manufacturing opens up entirely new possibilities when we approach it with a digital, flexible, and industry-ready mindset. The close collaboration within the A4M project enables us to translate requirements into digital models at an early stage and develop them in a targeted manner.”
